Charles William Clark was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and graced with traditional midwestern values. Charles was brought up in a competitive environment, playing sports all year round from an early age, including baseball, football, basketball and wrestling, and was also an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. His first job was a paperboy from age 9 to 13. He has been working ever since.
Charles moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to be an actor and started working in the restaurant business and doing commercials. He worked as a waiter at 72 Market St in Venice, which at the time was rated one of the top five places to eat in Los Angeles. Other places Charles worked were Chaya Venice, The Buffalo Club and Le Colonial. Charles quickly developed a love for the California lifestyle learning to surf, snowboard, mountain bike and fly fish. When Charles realized he hated auditions and couldn't act, and there was no money working as a waiter, he turned to real estate. Charles is now affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty and has been helping people achieve their dreams since 2002. He was taught how to represent buyers and sellers by the best in the business and continues to learn daily, concentrating on the basics such as understanding the contract, watching and studying the ever-changing market, fine tuning negotiating skills and developing and maintaining good working relationships with other realtors. Charles understands that to best represent the needs of clients he must listen. Charles is a full-time agent and is a loving father that supports his wife and two children. Charles has a very long list of happy clients ranging from first-time buyers and sellers to actors and musicians to multi-million-dollar clients.
