Andrea Dunlop has been selling real estate in Los Angeles for over six years. She began her career at Prudential CA Real Estate in Hancock Park, earning several annual awards for her achievement in sales. She now works at Sotheby's International Realty in Los Feliz.

Andrea specializes in historical and architecturally significant homes and commercial spaces, from Victorian to craftsman, mid-century to contemporary and everything in between. Her clients range from first-time buyers to seasoned investors. Almost all of her business is by referral from past clients, friends and family. The majority of Andrea's clients are creative personalities, including artists, architects, writers, actors, musicians and designers.

To sell historic properties, one must have first-hand knowledge of the travails of owning older homes. Andrea and her husband, Max, have restored two turn-of-the-century homes in historic West Adams, including the 1911 Dutch Colonial Revival-style house where they currently reside. She is able to use her extensive knowledge of the local Historic Preservation Overlay Zones and tax incentives for restoration, such as the Mills Act, to aid her clients in selecting and maintaining their historic and architectural homes.

Andrea was drawn to West Adams for its rich history and its beautiful architecture, which reminds her of her native North Carolina. She enjoys serving on her community's Neighborhood Council Board and is a member of its Economic Development and Tree Committees. Andrea worked hard this year to get over 100 new trees planted along West Adam's commercial corridor, and also applied for and received a Beautification Grant to landscape the fa├žade of a local public school.

Andrea sells real estate throughout Los Angeles, in areas such as Angelino Heights, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Mid-Wilshire, Hollywood, Mount Washington, Miracle Mile, Jefferson Park, Hancock Park, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Boyle Heights, Culver City, Downtown, West Adams and Mid-City.
